Powers Goes on the Road to Defeat Carman-Ainsworth Twice

   Powers got by the Cavs 17-0 and 18-1 in SVL action moved up a day to avoid Thursday’s all day rain prediction. Santino Evely threw a perfect three innings to earn the win. Kaden Martel (3 hits) and Eli Sturgess (2 hits) paced an eleven-hit attack.
   In the nightcap, Nate Gebhardt earned the win by striking out five in three scoreless innings of work. (Lasted only four innings). Evely led the offensive charge with 3 hits. Logan Gowan drove in four runs. Michael Borg, Landon Bohanon, and Gebhardt each smacked a pair of safeties.
   After Prom weekend, the Chargers (10-8 overall) prepare to host Davison on Monday.
