Powers vs Davison
On Thursday night the Powers Catholic Boys Varsity Lacrosse team defeated Davison 21-4. Powers once again started fast, scoring 8 goals in the first quarter of the contest, taking an impressive 8-2 first quarter lead. Powers took that first quarter lead and never looked back taking a 12-3 lead at half and finishing the game with 7 different goal scorers. Powers was led in scoring by Juniors Josh Back who had a game high in points with 4 goals and 4 assists and RJ McAndrew who had a game high in goals with 6 goals and 1 assist. Junior Parker Bendall had a game high 10 ground balls while also adding 2 goals to his excellent all-around effort. Back stopping the win was Freshman Goalie Takoda Sullivan who made 7 saves in the game. The Boys Lacrosse team will look to further its 3-game win streak this coming Monday on May 5th when they travel to Midland Dow for a critical SVL showdown.
