Grand Blanc, MI - Powers Catholic wasted no time in getting Grand Blanc on their heels on Friday night at Grand Blanc High School. The Chargers used a 26-3 first quarter to set the tone and tempo with pressure and transition turning defense into offense quickly. Powers Catholic wouldn’t take their foot off the gas eventually downing Grand Blanc 64-17 in league play. The Chargers were paced by Evah Smith finishing with 23 points on the night. Powers Catholic (15-2, 8-0) now moves into a showdown with Davison (12-4, 7-1) for the SVL Championship - South Division on the line. Tip off is set for 6:00pm on Tuesday at Davison.
