Powers Baseball Rebounds With Sweep of Cavs After losing a pair at Swartz Creek over the weekend, the Chargers cruised to a 15-0, 16-0 sweep of visiting Carman-Ainsworth on Monday. Michael Borg picked up the win on the mound and blasted a grand slam homer over the right field fence. Drew Simmons went 3 for 3, Eli Sturgess, Landon Bohanon, Logan Gowan, and Tom Begola each recorded two-hit games. In the nightcap, it was more of the same with Kane Sekelsky delivering two hits and 4 RBI’s to lead the way. Powers, 4-2 overall, (2-0 SVL) will complete the three-game series by traveling to C-A on Wednesday for a single game. April showers threaten to affect baseball action the rest of the week.
