Powers 1 – Notre Dame Prep 2 Tough losses stay with you, but they also shape you as a player and as a team. Last night’s setback against #2-ranked Notre Dame Prep will not be forgotten—it will serve as motivation for our boys to dig deeper and show the level of effort needed to win these big games when it matters most. The matchup was nothing short of a battle between two Division 3 rivals. Prep struck first in the opening half, but with just minutes remaining, senior Logan Johnson answered with a goal, assisted by his brother, junior Colin Johnson. All square at halftime, both sides came out firing in the second half. With 9 minutes left, Notre Dame capitalized on a corner kick to score the game-winner and secure the victory.
